After a nationwide search, AASA, The School Superintendents Association, has selected 20 accomplished women leaders from school districts across the country to participate in the inaugural cohort of the AASA Aspiring Women Leaders Program. Elizabeth Freeman, director of innovative learning, Teaching and Technology, Fremont School District 79, was so named.
The April 4, 2017, election Petition Packets are available in the District 79 office, 28855 North Fremont Center Road, Mundelein. Community members interested in running for election to the Fremont District 79 Board of Education may pick up a petition packet any work day between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Questions may be directed to the Superintendent's Assistant at 847-566-0169.
