Sixth Grade Orientation PowerPoint
Missed the Fremont Middle School orientation meeting? Download the PowerPoint here.

This spring students will sign up for related studies classes, “specials”, in which they want to participate. In April, a packet with information about the classes and sign up procedures will be sent home.

At the Middle School there are different levels of math and language arts classes. Students will proceed through the placement process this spring and a review of each student’s data will determine placement for sixth grade. Details of the placement process will be posted on the Middle School page in April. Final placements will be sent home by the end of May.

At the end of May, the fifth grade students will visit the middle school during the school day. Students will meet the 6th grade teachers and take a tour of the building.

Below is an outline of the events affecting fifth graders:
  • April 9 – April 25 Sign up for related studies classes. View class options here.
  • April – May Placement process for Math and Language Arts
  • May – Fifth grade students visit the Middle School
