Ivanhoe Village & Other Residential Developments Updates
Fremont School District 79 is entering a period of ongoing student growth driven by several new residential developments that are expected to generate a significant number of K-8 students (currently estimated at 1,100).
Our values in monitoring this growth include:
- Proactive planning so we maintain our educational priorities and prevent an unfair financial burden on our current taxpayers;
- Enrollment monitoring and forecasting;
- Advocating for fair impact fees from developers;
- Ongoing review of our facilities with an eye toward the future; and
- Regular community outreach and communication
Our goal is to ensure that growth strengthens our community while maintaining the high standards our families expect.
