Course Recommendations and Acceleration

Our goal in FSD79 is to challenge every student appropriately and promote high levels of student growth. We recognize that reviews for course placement, early entrance, and grade level acceleration can have a significant impact on the next 10-15 years of a student's educational experience, and beyond.

We also recognize that growth and ability is malleable, and throughout the grade PK-8 experience our students experience significant brain development, and do so at different times. For that reason, we work to emphasize an inclusive approach that seeks to build bridges, while attempting to avoid barriers, to high levels of student growth and achievement throughout the FSD79 educational experience.
