Fremont School District 79 PUNS Contact - Tegan Dittmer
ISBE Physical Restraint, Time Out, and Isolated Time Out (RTO) At Fremont School District 79, we are committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment through the use of proactive behavior management strategies. These strategies emphasize the importance of clear expectations, positive reinforcement, and consistent communication to promote good behavior and prevent disruptions. In line with our commitment to student safety and well-being, we have a comprehensive plan to reduce the use of physical restraint and time out. This plan focuses on alternative, non-invasive methods to manage challenging behaviors, ensuring that physical restraint and time out are used only as a last resort. By prioritizing de-escalation techniques and supportive interventions, we aim to create a more inclusive and nurturing atmosphere for all students.
