Fremont School District 79 offers early childhood education for preschool children ages 3-5 in a classroom of up to 10 students who attend either a morning or afternoon session. Each child in the program has an IEP, Individual Education Plan, to address some type of developmental delay or special need. The Early Childhood Program provides a comprehensive, child-centered learning environment, which supports each child’s individual progress through developmentally appropriate activities and experiences. The early childhood teacher, classroom assistant, speech language pathologist, occupational therapist, and social worker all work with parents to meet the needs of the children.
