PTO at a Glance

  • The Fremont School District 79 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. The PTO coordinates fundraisers to provide programs and projects to benefit all the students who attend FSD79 schools.

  • Spread the word about our fundraiser with Charleston Wrap! Use this flyer to register and send email or text invitations. With over 2,500 gift ideas, supporters can shop and accomplish all of their gift giving needs, all while supporting our important cause. Sale ends October 29!

  • Looking for more information on what the PTO is up to, and how you can help? Make sure you've joined the Fremont PTO group on Facebook. Simply enter "Fremont PTO" in the search bar and you'll answer two questions to gain entry into the group. Once approved, you'll find detailed committee descriptions, school happenings, volunteer opportunities, and an active community that helps to answer questions. For questions contact

Yard Sign

  • Show your Fremont pride with a "Home Of a Wildcat" yard sign. Please email Christie Johnson at for a link to the electronic form, then send in $20 (check made out to FSD79 PTO) to the Fremont Elementary School front office.

Electronic Birthdays

  • Even though we are currently eLearning, we can still celebrate your Fremont Student’s special day! “Happy Birthday, Your Child’s Name” can appear on the Fremont Electronic Message Board. Just complete the attached birthday board form and send it back to any school front office. If you have any questions, please contact Christie Johnson at

Trunk or Treat

  • Save the date for our first-ever Trunk or Treat!! It will be Saturday, October 23 from 10 a.m.-noon in the Elementary School parking lot. This event is free for the entire family but is limited to 40 cars. See this flyer for more details.

Picture Retakes

  • Picture day orders were sent home with your child last week. If you placed an order for an individual student photo, you should have received it. If you only ordered a class photo, those will be delivered in mid-late November after photos from retake day are processed.

    If you did not pre-order school photos, you will receive a postcard with your student's photo and a ticket code which will allow you to place an order now. Those orders will be shipped to your home address.

    If you are unhappy with your student's photo, or your student was absent, you may elect to have a photo taken on retake day, October 28. Please complete this form Picture Retake Request to request a retake for your student.

Order Your Yearbooks

PTO Membership/Online Directory for 2021-22

  • If you already have an account in Membership Toolkit, thank you for creating and/or updating your Membership Toolkit account last year. All accounts have been rolled over for the 2021-22 school year but you do need to update/confirm your account information to activate your account. If you do not update/confirm your family information and directory preferences by November 1, your account will be removed from Membership Toolkit.  

    If you don't have an account in Membership Toolkit, set it up now for free! Once you have created an account in Membership Toolkit your child will appear in the online directory immediately (that's if you choose to do so). To create an account, go to and follow the directions in this form. 

    To gain access to Online Student Directory your account must be active and you must pay the $15 PTO Membership Fee. You can pay the $15 PTO Membership fee thru Venmo @Fremont-PTO; or by bringing or sending this form with your cash payment or check made payable to Fremont PTO to any school front office. Once we receive confirmation of your payment we will give you access to the online directory. Please note it may take up to one week to be granted access to the online directory. 

    Don't forget to download the FREE Membership Toolkit app to your smartphone-search "Membership Toolkit" in your app store. 

    NOTE: You must have a Membership Toolkit account for your child to appear in the online directory. If you want access to the Online Student Directory you must pay the $15 PTO Membership Fee. If you don't want to pay the $15 PTO Membership Fee your child will appear in the directory but you won't have access to view the Online Student Directory. Please help encourage other families to create their FREE Membership Toolkit account so we can get as many Fremont students/families in the online directory as possible--class lists will not be complete in the Online Student Directory without EVERYONE having an account and assigning a teacher to their student!
