    2020 Graduation - Monday, June 1

It is important that all students, including eighth graders, complete a full year of school. Fremont Middle School sets graduation on or as close to the last day of the school year. However, the last day of school won't be officially determined until after winter when any snow/emergency days may be added to the school calendar. The date of graduation has been set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 1 at College of Lake County (Fieldhouse - Building 7), Grayslake.

For the graduation/promotion ceremony, all students will be wearing gowns. It is important for boys to wear a shirt and tie, slacks, socks, and leather shoes. Girls, likewise, need appropriate footwear and formal clothing. This is a school event and the school dress code is in effect.

    Student Records

When a student enters public school a file is made that holds such items as report cards and standardized tests results. This file transfers to any school the student attends. Per school code, Fremont School District 79 retains copies of the file for a certain period of time. Copies of a student's temporary file will be destroyed in 2022. Copies of a student’s permanent file will be destroyed in 2077.
