Preschool Program Eligibility and Screening

To qualify for the preschool program, your child must attend a preschool screening conducted by Fremont School District 79. If you are interested in scheduling a screening appointment for your child, please contact Student Services Administrative Assistant, Deb Steagall, at 847-566-0169 ext. 4007.

During the screening process, the student will be screened in the areas of Fine and Gross Motor Development, Speech and Language Development, General Academic Concepts, and Social and Emotional Development. Parents/Guardians will be asked to complete a questionnaire about their child and will meet with a staff member to review the information it contains.
