Student Fees

Student fees support instructional materials and school programs in Fremont School District 79. Fees vary by grade level and are assessed annually.  

  • Important: Student fees are not required to complete registration.
  • Fees for the 2026-27 school year will be posted in TeacherEase after March 1.

Fee Waivers

Parents/guardians who believe their families may qualify for the Federal Free/Reduced Lunch Program can apply online through the TeacherEase Parent Portal after July 1. The application can be found under the Miscellaneous tab. Once submitted, you will be notified of your child’s eligibility within five business days.

How to View and Pay Fees

All student fees are managed through the TeacherEase Parent Portal. You may view and pay for all your children’s fees online from the same page.

To view or pay fees:

  1. Log in to the TeacherEase Parent Portal
  2. Go to Parent Main > Miscellaneous > Fees
  3. Make Online Payment
  4. Continue
  5. Enter your credit/debit card information
  6. Submit Payment
  7. A receipt will be available on the next screen. 

The option to pay your fees with cash or check is only available at the District Office. Checks should be made payable to Fremont School District 79. Our District Office is located at 28855 N. Fremont Center Rd., Mundelein, IL 60060. School year hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Summer hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. -12 p.m..

Some courses and extracurricular activities include an additional fee. Participation in these programs is optional.

  • Fees are assessed only if a student enrolls in the course or activity
  • Fees are charged at the time of enrollment in the class, sport, or activity
  • Fees help offset program and participation costs
