FSD79 Calls eLearning Day on Jan. 23 Due to Extreme Temperatures

Due to extreme wind chills, Fremont School District 79 schools will have an eLearning Day on Friday, January 23. The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning calling for dangerously cold wind chills between 30 and 40 below until noon on Friday.

All after-school activities are also canceled for January 23, including the Fremont Intermediate School Student Council Movie Night. 

All lessons and assignments will be communicated to students and parents no later than 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. PK-5 parents will receive communication from their child(ren)’s homeroom teacher(s) via email and 6-8 students will receive their teacher communications through Google Classroom. Kindergarten parents, please note that your student will be bringing home his/her iPad this afternoon to participate in tomorrow’s eLearning Day.
