jrfh Fremont Intermediate School’s 760 students in Grades 3 to 5 collectively raised about $27,474 for the American Heart Association in its annual Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser.

The following students were the top fundraisers for the school:  Riley Demko, fifth grade; Bradley Parmley, fourth grade; and Thomas Natarajan, fifth grade.

Jump Rope For Heart is a national fundraising event sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD). These events engage students with jumping rope while empowering them to improve their own health and help other students with heart-health issues.
