All of our preschool programs are held at Lincoln Early Learning Center located at 200 W. Maple Ave in Mundelein. All programs are 2 1/2 hours in length. The morning sessions are from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The afternoon sessions are from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. All programs are for students between the ages of 3 - 5. All programs are play-based programs where skills in all areas are enhanced and mastered through play. All programs utilize the Creative Curriculum Program which is based on the Illinois Early Learning Development Standards. Along with this, all programs utilize the Jolly Phonics Preschool Program which is an introduction to the Jolly Phonics Program Fremont uses with Kindergarten students.
In order to qualify for two of the programs, your child must attend a Preschool Screening held by Fremont. If you are interested in bringing your child for screening, please contact Carol Bennett at 847-949-2720. During the screening process, the team reviews if there are any delays in speech, fine and gross motor, cognitive, and/or social-emotional skills along with completing an interview with the parents.
Early Childhood Program - This program is designed for students that qualify for an Individual Educational Program (IEP) due to a delay in speech, fine and gross motor, cognitive, social-emotional skills, etc. The process begins with a screening and then additional testing may be done from there to further get to know the student’s needs.
