Early Childhood Program

Fremont School District 79 offers early childhood education for preschool age children ages 3-5 in a classroom of up to 10 students who attend either a morning or afternoon session. Each child in the program has an IEP, Individual Education Plan, to address some type of developmental delay or special need. The Early Childhood Program provides a comprehensive, child-centered learning environment, which supports each child’s individual progress through developmentally appropriate activities and experiences. The early childhood teacher, classroom assistant, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, and social worker all work with parents to meet the needs of the children.
